I love running Eagle Creek Trail in the Columbia River Gorge of Oregon. It is one of those trails that commands all your attention, focus, and patience. The precarious nature of the trail, with it’s cliffs and breath taking views, will keep you exhilarated through-out it’s length. The trail sits on the north facing slopes of Mount Hood and in the spring the waterfalls become beasts from the rain fall and snow run off. After running the trail I often find myself emotionally drained and mellow from the trail and its surrounding beauty.

    Just ridiculously amazing looking!!! As a kid I always wanted to visit Mt. Hood for Snowboarding…. Now there is another reason I must get there one day…

    I’ll second that!  This is an incredible trail.  That little waterfall is irresistible.
