I am an almond farmer, so am blessed to run through miles of almond orchards for my daily runs right behind and around our house, even though we live in town.  Our backyard bumps up against an orchard, and they go on for miles from there.  The beauty is that they are mostly 20-40 acre blocks so I can easily adjust my mileage with out and backs based up my needs. 

I love the serenity of running in the orchards, it is quiet almost all of the time, and a large reason I love running is the mental/spiritual aspect which definitely is fed by the beauty I am blessed to run in on a regular basis.   Clears my mind, lifts my spirit, energizes my body!
