Product Review: Natural Vitality Sports

A few weeks ago, Natural Vitality Sports offered me the opportunity to sample three of their products: Organic Life Vitamins, Energy 28, and Natural Calm. After reading through the provided information and then perusing the internet for other Natural Vitality Sports product reviews, I committed – without reservation - to using the supply that was delivered.

My non-scientific product analysis:

While it’s difficult to feel a clear before-and-after using the Organic Life liquid vitamins (I have always taken a pill-form multi-vitamin), I absolutely love the individual serving packs. For me - a busy working mama that is always on the go and very forgetful - it is easy to throw a packet of liquid vitamins in my purse each morning. They are then easily ripped open and consumed during my 60 minute commute to work or as soon as I arrive to the office.

Seriously, I’m a big fan of “convenient items” like this.

The Energy 28  is also in liquid form and also packaged in a great little “On-The-Go” packet. With this “energy shot,” I told myself that instead of buying my normal afternoon coffee, I’d drink the shot instead. And truth be told, I can’t think of one day when I felt the need for a coffee after taking the Energy 28.

(Disclaimer: In no way am I encouraging my readers to abandon other ways to stay alert without caffeine…but personally, I drink coffee. A lot of it.)

Lastly, it was time to test out Natural Vitality Sports’ Natural Calm…which I now call my “calming drink” (and these days…whew…it seems like I need every ounce of extra serenity I can get).

This stuff works, folks. Like the other products, Natural Calm comes in a nice little travel-sized packet. Unlike the others, it is in powder form. I mix it with a big glass of water.

I had returned home after an extra-tough day the first time I mixed “my calming drink.” I skipped over a much-needed glass of red wine, in fact, in order to accurately test out what was touted as “The Anti-Stress Drink.”

I loved it.

I drank a whole glass and felt my body relax immediately.

According to their site,

Magnesium and calcium are fundamental nutrients that need to be in balance with each other in order for you to fully experience good health. Their importance on a cellular level is critical. Calcium and magnesium are like opposite sides of a coin. Calcium excites nerves, while magnesium calms them down. Calcium makes muscles contract. Magnesium is necessary for muscles to relax. Calcium is needed for blood clotting, but magnesium keeps the blood flowing freely.

I got less-than-perfect grades in both high school chemistry and physics. Regardless, I am intrigued to learn more about my body make up on a micro level.

Natural Vitality Sports’ website is informative and educational. Their product is tasty, convenient, and seems to do exactly what the labels (and other reviews) say it does. If you’re looking into nutritional supplements, you should check them out.

Going to have to look into Canadian availability at lease of the Energy 28. I like to try out healthy energy products being a non-coffee type… Nothing against coffee just don’t like how it tastes…
